Smarana

Based in Istanbul, Turkey, Smarana is a transformative space for health and wellness. Harnessing the power of healing and holistic mentalities, the offering of Smarana incorporates (but is not limited to) energy healing, sound healing, reiki, yoga, access bars and breath-work.
Created by practitioner, Natalie Garih, Smarana is a quest for internal healing and a space to shrug off the weight from modern living or past traumas. In addition to creating a space for healing, Smarana donates 10% of each session to HAYTAP (an animal rights federation in Turkey).
The design looks to the hands as a symbol of the power of touch and of healing through energy. The main symbol forms an ‘S’ to identify the brand name and utilises additional illustrations to signify each main modality. When combined in a practice or ritual, they form a mandala of hands.
